We, at Aidpage, are a small team with a big desire. We want to make it possible for people all over the world to help each other over the Internet - in a direct, informal way.

If you need help...
Sign up here on Aidpage - free, takes about 10 seconds, don't need an email. Post a new message with pictures and information about your current situation and your needs - it's easy, technical skills are not required. Then, browse other people's aidpages. Use the comments section on their aidpages to send them messages. Some of them will respond to you. At the same time, other people will be visiting your aidpage and writing to you. Write back to them. Talk to each other. Make aidmates.
How can aidmates help each other...?
Aidpage doesn't tell you how to help each other... It's up to you to decide. Advice and good information are easy to share right here on Aidpage. But you can do whatever you find appropriate and necessary... in whatever way you can. Use the aid information and web links contributed by other aidmates. Add to these resources. Be a good aidmate.
If you want to help others...
Simply browse or search Aidpage and wherever interested, post comments or contact the people. They will respond to you. Make aidmates. You can even start your own group right here on Aidpage. A group has a better chance to make a difference in a single person's life or to work for a larger cause. Aidpage is free... no limit on how many pages you can post here or how many groups you can organize. Most importantly - you'll be on the web with a purpose!
The easiest way to help...
The more people know about Aidpage, the better for all aidmates. Add your friends, relatives, and colleagues as email contacts here on Aidpage. Use this new feature of Aidpage to bring in the much needed attention and support to those in need.

Simply posting on Aidpage makes you an Aidmate. Aidmates take part in something larger - a new worldwide public place where people see each other and help each other... with no fuss... and no need to work through organizations with all their rules, overhead costs, bureaucracy, and political agendas. On Aidpage, you are totally free to ask for help... or offer help... with no need for "proving" or "reporting" anything to anyone. Basically, there is no "process" on Aidpage.
We, at Aidpage, do not plan on tracking who gives to whom... what, why, or how much. Handling of material transactions between Aidmates is left to their own discretion, mutual agreement, and responsibility. We do not plan on posting "success stories" on Aidpage either. We believe people are "wired" for trust. We believe empathy and compassion need no incentives.
There are words like "micro-giving" and "direct philanthropy" coming from the world of the traditional "donor-recipient-beneficiary" philanthropy. We understand, however, that giving is a basic human need in itself. So we prefer to just say "people aid people". All Aidmates are always donors and beneficiaries.
Hello Victoria... what is happening with your picture may be due to a technical problem. Please, don't blame the other users before we know what is going on. You can remove (delete) your angry comments on the pages of the other users. Our programmers will take a look at this tomorrow (Monday).

Looking for help...? Just need to talk to somebody...? Want to help somebody...?
Make an aidpage about whatever is on your mind. Tell about yourself. Add pictures. Making an aidpage is easy... technical skills are not required... and Aidpage is free.
Then... browse other people's aidpages. Use the comments section on their aidpages. Write to them. Post web links and pictures. You can send them private messages too. Some of them will reply to you. At the same time, other people will be visiting your aidpage and will be writing to you. Write back to them. Talk to each other. Make aidmates.
Come back on Aidpage every time you need to share something. On Aidpage, people are real - it's not like TV. Real people talk to each other and help each other. That's what Aidpage is about.

Organizations are absolutely welcome to use Aidpage - to seek or to offer help (or both) - within the spirit of informal immediacy and "everything free" which are the hallmarks of Aidpage.
Organizations and businesses, we believe, will want to publish large amounts of useful data and free advice on Aidpage for at least six reasons - (1) as part of their own web presence and visibility strategy, (2) for a share of the advertising revenue generated on their Aidpages, (3) because it is easy technically and organizationally, (4) as part of their overall PR and marketing efforts, (5) because it is just a good thing to do, and (6) we won't charge you anything - remember, publishing on Aidpage is free.

Aidpage, Inc. is based in Brookline (Boston Area), Massachusetts, USA.
We are a small start-up company with a big plan. Our plan is to give people all over the world a free web based platform for free mutual aid and support.
Ivan Ivanov (Co-founder and President of Aidpage, Inc.): "I believe to help someone in need is the most moving and inspiring experience... I am talking about everyday situations... Interesting thing though, no matter how 'small' the problem is to us, when we help others, we are getting a lot of satisfaction." read Ivan's full post...
Emil Sotirov (Co-founder and CEO of Aidpage, Inc.): "We created Aidpage so that people come together to help each other. We believe that web enabled 'peer-to-peer' mutual micro-helping will meet needs not readily met by government, nonprofits, or business." read Emil's full post...

BOSTON, MA - September 20, 2005 - Aidpage, Inc. (www.aidpage.com) today announced the launch of a free online locator service for people missing as a consequence of Hurricane Katrina. The virtual family reuniting point, located at http://katrina.aidpage.com, contains searchable and interactive personal web pages for hundreds of thousands of people separated or missing as a result of Hurricane Katrina.
"We are aggregating the data available on the Internet to create unique web pages for every missing or found person," said Emil Sotirov, Co-Founder and CEO of Aidpage, Inc. "This way, Katrina victims or relatives looking for loved ones can type a person's name into any search engine and find the information they need in the way most people are used to searching the Internet. Our Katrina Aidpages will be the most easily accessible, effective, and up to date resource for Katrina victims currently available."
In addition, individuals can create their own pages for missing or found people, and post updates, pictures, and add resource links. No technical skills or registration is required. Finally, Katrina survivors who are looking for aid such as housing or employment can list their needs as well - so that people offering support can see them.
"Our ultimate goal is to put those who are in need in touch with the information, resources, and individuals who can give them the aid and comfort that they are looking for," said Ivan Ivanov, co-founder and President. "At Aidpage, our mission is helping people to help people."
Aidpage, Inc., founded in Boston in May 2005, is building the first global "People Aid People" web based platform for direct person-to-person, informal, non-mediated, and free mutual aid and support.
Prior to founding Aidpage, Ivan Ivanov and Emil Sotirov co-founded IDILOGIC in 1994, where they created and sold nationwide informational software recognized by the American Library Association as one of the best electronic media reference products.
